message from the Principal, Lesley Lofthouse
Tynedale Academy of Performing Arts (TAPA) is open to
anyone between the ages of 5 and 18 years, who would
like to learn how to act, dance and sing. I am particularly
keen to make the performing arts available for all.
Who
can join TAPA
No
entry auditions will be held. Auditions traditionally
rely upon written material in the selection process.
With 20 years experience of teaching I fully appreciate
that this is a nightmare for the dyslexic or less
confident reader. TAPA will sensitively support young
people with any such concerns. Every TAPA student
will automatically be a member of the cast when we
begin work on our annual performance.
